Fyrgården is located on the Island of Anholt, in the midst of the Kattegat sea. On the islands western shore, the famous lighthouse rises over 40 meters above the sea surface. Once upon a time, Fyrfården was home to the lighthouse keeper and his family. The Arén family came to Fyrgården in the late 60s together with three other families, and have ever since spent as much time as possible in the house their summers there ever since.
The house, with its unique interior and location, have ever since been a place where people gather and socialize across generational boundaries.The essence of the daily life at Fyrgården consists as much of community as privacy, eat together in the beautiful garden or enjoy a moment of solitude in the desert or by the sea.

The house itself was built in the early 1700th century, and consists of three so-called apartments with access to both kitchen, dining room and a varied amount of bedrooms.therefor it’s possible to rent the In the middle of the yard stand a water pump, which supplies the whole house with water, and just as in the good old days, you keep it running by using the hand pump.
